The Winsberg addition introduces a new photography studio above the existing garage, taking advantage of the elevated position to open the space toward the lake and bring in abundant natural light.

Because of the limited space available for circulation, the stair became a central part of the design. Its configuration was carefully developed to provide comfortable access to the new upper-level studio while minimizing its impact on the existing floor plan. The result is a compact, thoughtfully integrated addition that expands the home while creating a bright and inspiring workspace oriented toward the view.
